As You Searched For Your Lost Son

We are greeting you in the name of our Lord Jesus again. Because of your prayers and support, our ministry is going well and growing. We are very thankful for your Christian love and prayers and faithful support of our ministry. It is joyful to listen to His voice and to walk in His step every day and to be full of excitement.

As you searched for your lost son

Let me share a past experience I had with my second son Pesan (Jonathan), who was four years old at the time. In 2005, my son (Pesan) and my mum and I went to Myanmar Bible Institute, which is in Pyin Oo Lwin, for the college trustees meeting. When we arrived at Mandalay train station, we stopped at the train station telephone house and called my wife in Yangon. It took us fifteen hours by train from Yangon to Mandalay. After five minutes calling my wife, I could not find my son and realized I lost him in the crowd.

My worry went up to the highest rate and I tried to find him in the crowd, looking in every direction. I took off my slippers, and hung them at my waist and ran with bare feet downstairs and upstairs, and was praying as I ran. But I could not find him. Then I went to the train station information center and told them that I lost my son and asked them to announce for my son over the loud speaker. But they said that they are not allowed to do that, they can announce only after they got children found. But I asked them again and again for three or four times to announce for my son but they refused. I realized that they would not change their rules and I had wasted my time, so I rushed away and ran everywhere in search of him.

It lasted about 30 minutes and I was running and shouting like a crazy man in tears around the station. I had no place to search for him. The only thing I could do was to get out of the train station and to search for him on the city streets. Therefore I went down from upstairs of the station through the small road to the ground toward the city street. There I found my son at the last shop of the small road of the station. A lady there said to me, “I knew your son was lost and if he passed from here, he would have been lost in the city streets. I hoped that someone would come and find him, and therefore I stopped him.” I thanked her very much and what Pesan said to me was: “ Daddy, where did you go, I was looking for you?” He did not realize he was lost.

Then I took him to the place where my mum was waiting for us and found her frightened with tears. She was tired and dizzy with the long train ride and thought that when we stopped at the telephone house, Pesan was with me. Pesan did not notice I stopped at the telephone house, and followed the crowd of people upstairs on the escalator. The Lord was good and protected him and answered our prayers. My question was: “Why did this happen to us?” The Lord answered me: “I have that worry too. I lost my people and they do not know they are lost. Therefore go and search for my lost people as you searched for your lost son.” Our Daddy did not go anywhere, He is always watching and waiting for us. He is very sad because we turn away from His presence. 92 percent of our people are lost and they do not know they are lost. They worship their own idols, stars, moon, sun, snakes, stones, trees, rivers, rats, cows, elephants, etc and our creator is very sad and worries for our lost. (Isaiah 6:8; 53:6, Rom 3:10-12).

I believe God taught me from my son Pesan’s lesson to realize how much God worries for His lost people and to have a passion for the lost souls. Therefore we are sharing the gospel to our people as much as we can and your prayers and supports are important. Thank you very much for praying and supporting us. We added two more children at Yangon orphanage after we returned back from the States. Their names are Pyi Zung and Deesar Aung. We had a church elders seminar on October 26th, and we are going to have a new harvest festival on the 24th this month.

Our mission organization is: Priority One Worldwide, 15717, Turkey Farm Rd, Minneola, FL 34715.

Thank you very much and may the Lord’s passion and blessings be upon you. In His love, Judah and Khaw, Myanmar, Southeast Asia.
