May you have Merry Christmas in the time our Lord Jesus Christ was born. May you have Godly peace which is brought from Heaven.
I Praise God continually because of his favor and blessings on this ministry. Because of the generosity of so many supporters, many exciting projects are well underway.
On November 28, 2013 we purchased 2/3 of acre of land for a new orphanage in Jung Byaw, and right now we are having a fence built around it to protect it from thieves and animals. A photo is attached showing us praying over this land. Also, a new church building in Jung Byaw is in process (they used to meet in a tent and a picture is also attached). The orphanage land is next to the church land. While in Jung Byaw I performed the first ever Christian wedding ceremony at Jung Byaw 11/27. Many people were curious and came and watched it. We will have a Christmas celebration in Jung Byaw 12/22, and I am praying that many people will attend it and hear the Gospel. We will call this a house, not a church, because it is illegal to build a church in Myanmar. This is the only Christian presence in all of Jung Byaw (village of about 50 families).
We had a Christmas celebration at the preschool/church in Bagu on December 1st, and many local families attended this (picture is attached). The preschool is doing very well as is the house church. This building was the result of support given by donors less than 2 years ago. I started with just 3 attending the preschool and now has 15. The house church started with only a handful attending and now has 30-40. This is the only Christian presence in all of Bagu (town of over 10,000).
I baptized four people, three from Yangon orphanage and one from another area. They are Pong Sai Aung, Myo Aung, Gay Gee and Kaung Sai. Ram from Yangon orphanage finished recently University and he is the first person. He is our first graduate and we are very proud of him. Our Christmas celebration will be on December 25th. Our church/orphanage is the only Christian presence in Wireless (city of over 30,000).
I would like to share how God is working in the life of Myint Thein. He was an unbeliever and we shared the Word of God to him 4 years ago and he became a believer and was baptized. He is the only believer from his whole family, and is growing spiritually daily. He is a driver for a chief officer in a government company. His family did not get enough food with his salary (kyats 130000, equal to $140) and sometimes he did not have money for bus fare on returning home from work. Sometimes he would ask his boss for money to cover the fare, but God spoke to his heart telling him to trust him for this. So he decided not to ask anymore, but to pray. One day arriving home, they did not have food for dinner, so he was just praying to God and trusting him. After praying, his eldest daughter, came home from her job and gave 50000 Kyats to her dad. She did not know that her family did not have money for food.
Before he became a believer, he did his work as a duty and never wanted to do anything extra. After becoming a believer, God changed his heart and wants to work with a good servant spirit. Because of this he would always do his job and look for other ways to bless his boss. Last month, his boss increased his salary from 130000 to 180000 Kyats. This was a very large raise, and far more than is typical. He is so thankful to God and gives him all the glory. He is one of the elders in our Wireless church. Please pray that many more will come to know Christ in Myanmar.
Thank you very much and may the Lord’s blessings be upon you.
In His love, Judah and Khaw, Myanamar, Southeast Asia.
